Oh god, all the praise I've been hearing was right. Despite all logical expectations, Snakes on a Plane is a legitimately good movie. The CG snakes looked kind of cheap, but after a while, I just forgot about it and enjoyed the ride.
It was so good that after I was done watching it, I went to the book store under the theatre (the Paramount is like six storeys up and you have to ride a huge escalator from the box office to the screens) and bought the novelization. It better be good.
I have to say the best part was when they finally got to the CATCHPHRASE OF THE MILLENIUM and the whole theatre erupted into applause and cheers. It was incredible.
