How the hell is it season 8?
Good things- FAMILY BUSINESS. I have missed the crap out of that! It was so nice to hear it again.
IMPALA. I have now become that fan that geeks out whenever she's on screen (well, she's basically the only character I have left at this point)
CROWLEY okay, I lied. I still love this fool. I don't know if he is going to be the big bad (seems like it) so I'm apphrenshive. I don't want him to die but I welcome seeing him more. He really is the best. And I guess he can fill the Bobby sized hole in my heart. :(
URGH- really show? Sam just bounced away from Dean? Why would he look up jobs and then do nothing about them? He must know some other hunters still. How soon after Dean left, did he just walk away? After all the shit they've been through, he just gave up? Okay then.
Then again- Dean bounced in season six. Sam told him to go find that idiot and her dumb kid and play house- is that the "promise" that Carver is using? That's the only time I can think of where they said don't look for me.
But why is Dean all butt hurt when he walked away from Sam being in Hell? It wasn't like he was so lonely without Sam. He pasted himself into a ready made family. He seemed to accept that he'd never see his brother again. Nice to see the butt hurt out so early this season. :/
I do not care about Sam or his Mary Sue. Are we supposed to? I mean, he was way more into saying goodbye to that dog than the woman. That speaks volumes. Why would I care about a relationship that we just saw the end too? Boring.
Why force the person who hit a dog to keep the dog? Idiot. Not the greastest introduction, but then again, this was all about Dean.
Kevin. Eh. We'll see how it goes. I'm not interested in another prophet or the tablets of God. Next!
MISC-
So they want to lock the demons in Hell? Okay then. That feels like something they'd do in the final season. I. Then again, there are way more monsters out there, so they would only be geting rid of a small portion of monsters. Just, why suddenly want to close all the gates to Hell? That's kinda random.
Benny. He seems okay. I liked that he was in Dean's arm That was pretty cool. I can't believe that Dean hugged a vampire. I wonder if he's the new Cas?
Since my theory is that Dean killed him. Maybe Cas went rogue or something? Or, in the end, Cas needed to die/whatever in order for Dean and Benny to get out? I will be so bummed if Cas died. :( Come on, stop shrinking the show already!
all in all I'd say meh. It was better than the past few premieres but it was mostly just setting stuff up. The flashbacks will no doubt get on my nerves but then, so much about this show does already. I'll give Carver a chance to prove me wrong. I'd really like to like this show again.
