How I Met Your Mother
Eh. I can't understand why this show won't let Barney and Robin have any scenes where they are planning their wedding. I want to see that! I want to see them picking out a place, a date (yeah, yeah Ted did it, blah, blah) choosing who to invite, where to seat them, what to serve, pick out the cake, get her dress. Where the hell is that? Didn't we have to see Lily do that in season one and she didn't even get married then! Why shove them back together and then stall them out? I want to see them being a couple. If they are to be believed, we'll be seeing them get married in a few months, so why not you know, plan the damn wedding?!
I did enjoy seeing Robin and Lily hang out in the future. They both looked really good. :) I also liked how it took Robin almost twenty years to tell Lily about Marvin and Mike Tyson. While I have no idea why he was there in the first place, i don"t blame her for waiting. i don"t think i would want to tell anyone about the time i left their baby with mike tyson in a strip club!
It was very sweet that she held Marvin and got over her fear of babies (or well, her fear of holding him anyway) I just hope that this show will treat her infertility seriously at some point. Being around the baby and planning her future, you'd think at some point they would have to address it.
It's always nice to see Marshall and Barney hang out. I guess it's a good thing that Ted's place is so big, where else would Marshall have stored that arcade game? And i love how neither one of them played it, they were playing a regular video game. Hee.
As for the Ted stuff- he still bores the crap out of me, but if his stupid relationship with the cop will get him away from Robin, eh. I guess I can deal with it. Not that I expect them to drop the t/r shit anytime soon. But he seems less interested in moping about her when he has someone in his life.
