Snow, snow go away...
We got clobbered with almost two feet of snow. We lost power for 19 hours and that was just terrible but the worst thing is that there are freakin' wires down on our street, and it's going into THREE days since the storm and they are still there.
Our street can't be plowed until the wires are taken care of, the wires can't be taken care of because most of our street isn't plowed. In short, this is a fucking nightmare. Someone came around and put some orange cones up. WOW awesome, now come back and deal with these fucking wires, please!
To say the least, nerves are shot to hell. We can't move around, can't pay bills, can't get food. We're basically stuck until the city decides to get off its ass and help us out. I believe they are aware of the issue, but we must not count very high on the list.
As if that were enough to make you curse humanity in general, there will be a nice little rain storm later today. YAY. Cause all the snow hasn't totally not turned to ice and the trees are super stable. Whoo hoo! *head desk*
Whoever has the monkey paw could you please knock it off? New England is sorry for whatever grievance we've caused. Leave us the hell alone!
