and who will play me in the sitcom?
Today's ep of My LIfe is A Sitcom: My sister and I attempt to go to the doctors. Hilarity enuses.
The hospital is at the top of seven hills. And we have to hike all the way up them. This is the opposite of fun. It was raining before, so we grabbed our umbrellas and headed out.
At the top of the mountain hill, we stopped for another OMG-WE-HAVE-TO-CATCH-OUR-BREATHS-I-HATE-THESE-HILLS moment and were congratulating ourselves on our victory, when the clouds opened up and God said, I hate you Alfafa rln14 and sis. It started to POUR and when I say pour, I mean we were drenched in like seconds.
As fast as we could, we opened our umbrellas and started to curse and laugh. Then we crossed the street (getting wetter by the step) and headed to the doctor's. Which seemed to be on the side of a lake, since every passing car, just had to soak us more.
Eventually, we made it and then squished walked our way inside.
I wear glasses, so it was fun, not being able to see a thing, since they were full of raindrops. And of course by fun, I mean AWFUl.
At one point we were in an elevator with a man with a Jesus tat. I felt safe with him.
After the appointment, we had to go to another doctor's office. It wasn't as bad on this journey, rain wise. But the puddles. Well, the small lakes disguesed as puddles, I should say. They were everywhere and we got even more soaked. Yippee.
On the way home, as we came out of the doctor's, we spotted lightening. And then heard thunder. Wonderful. I then proceeded to tell my sister that I was never going anywhere with her again. I am mostly half joking.
As if that weren't ridiculous enough, one of the nurses asked if I were her mother! I am not even a full year older than my sister. And usually people think I'm younger. So. I feel like I should be insulted about that. *side eyes nurse with bad vision*
Needless to say, I could have done without this adventure. Happily, everything was okay doctor wise, but man. I was ready to build a damn ark!
