its been quite a week.

the campaign went really slow this week, mostly because everybody was dead from working so freaking hard up until the primary, and only me and the finance director were there, and all we did was gear up for next week when john is going to call hundreds of people asking for money. in lieu of that, ive been working more at hometown. working as a waiter is quite lucrative, everybody should do it once. i made 70 bucks in tips (plus 2.15 hourly) today working from 11 until 645. thats about 10.77 an hour. not bad.

however, now i am working all this time, yet i have nowhere to spend it. ive been having a really good summer because im getting a lot of good experience at the campaign with field work and everything, but im not hanging out with Anybody. i usually just go home and watch the playoffs at night. lame. if anybody is sitting around and they are like "man this is lame, i wish robert kahne were here," dont hesitate to call.

does anybody who reads this also read bluegrassreport.org? its the biggest political blog in kentucky, if anybody wants to know anything about democratic politics in the state, you should read that blog. anyway, richard becker (the president of college dems at uk) talked to mark nickloas (the author of bluegrassreport) and he offered to help us get our own blog at uk (ukdems.com) up and running, and he also offered to let us take over bluegrass report when he goes on vacation or wants some time off. i thought that was really awesome.

if you didn't read that last paragraph, richard becker and i are starting up ukdems.com soon. hopefully, with some advertising in bluegrass report/ screaming about it to all of our friends, it will get a lot of readership. were setting up a paypal account to help us raise funds for college dems. richard and I have huge plans for college dems next year, hopefully they will come true.

the pistons game was super intense. whats wrong with the pistons?

everyday i become more and more assured that my icon is the truth.
