Yesterday's Magick...
Yesterday was a wonderful, magickal day indeed! Why was it magickal you ask? Because, in the days leading up to yesterday, I have been receiving clues. Portent messages from my Spirit Guides that held promises of a small yet significant change that was coming.
Yet, at first I didn't understand or know what they meant. The clues came in the form of mottled gray and white dove feathers, mottled downy dove feathers, in the form of a red Vermillion Flycatcher, and in the forms of various harmless species of snakes crossing in my path.
So I meditated on these message clues and asked my Spirit Guides and Guardian Angel what these messages meant. The Guides and Angel explained to me that these messages meant one thing and one thing only: That a small, yet powerful change was coming. This change would be positive and a few sly and mysterious, yet beneficial and helpful, people would/will cross my path and help me achieve my goals in this change. I asked for a more detailed explanation of these clues but was told to take a wait and see stance and to keep my mind open. So I waited and kept my mind open to the magick of receiving an answer.
Then yesterday, the change occured. As soon as I went in to work (I work as a Courtesy Clerk for a grocery store company chain called Safeway) that day, I was called in to the store manager's office. Thinking that I was in trouble, I went to the office with my whole body shaking. However, when I entered, I was met by all of my managers who were smiling at me. The atmosphere in the office was relaxed, even jovial. Without a word, my store manager handed me a beautifully ornate box. I asked what was in the box and all my manager did was wink and tell me to open the box. When I opened the box, I gasped in shock. In the box was a crystal placard, congratulating me for my five years of wonderful service and dedication, and a beautiful and fancy pen. Then the biggest pleasure of all came just as I was about to leave. I was informed that I will be receiving a $2 raise! I am so happy and excited to be working for such a wonderful and caring company and I plan to work for the company for many more years to come!
So I am feeling extremely Blessed and pleased with this. I consider this event to be a major Beltane Blessing and I am looking for many more Blessings to come.
