To celebrate her birthday, Erika invited us to lunch at Petersham Nurseries in Richmond. A highlight for me was getting to interact briefly with a cow--she was generally nonplussed, but if I got too close she would walk away a bit. She was only interested in chewing grass--she knows my type--next time I'll pack a carrot in my bag.

One of the things I don't like about my Blackberry is that it encrypts image files, and the only way I've found to transfer them to my computer is to send them to myself via e-mail. Ten years ago for new year's eve Mom, Dad and I went to China Palace with Aunt Joni and Uncle Butch and then went back home to play cards.
