So today left me with just about nothing but hate. And my PS2, which is the only system I couldnt sell because I somehow forgot the power cable. I kept a controller in order to use the system as my DVD player. I also somehow forgot to bring my copies of Rock Band and Bioshock to the Gamestop with me in order to sell them. It also turned out that I couldnt sell them my Rock Band drums as they dont sell them used. So I have those (for sale if anyone wants them).
We also had to talk to some of Shannon's family (primarily her dad) to try and come up with $600 (with $100 extra in case of anything going wrong). One of the uncles lives in the cottage attached to the house and hasnt paid shit for fuck in the past 2 years. We confronted him about this the other day and he claims not to be able to cash any of his checks. He apparently hasnt paid child support in quite a while and is afraid of going to jail if he tries to cash anything. He also claims that his lawyers told him not to try cashing any checks. I dont know the law, but I know that any money we needed would NOT have come from him. ):|
So we got the money we need. Hopefull all we have to do is cash the check from Shocky's dad, get the certified check for the closing cost, and then we get the house.
Anyone else think something is gonna go wrong? I sure do.
