Work in Colonia, Yap, Micronesia

I'm helping to interview applicants for the Lease Coordinator job in our State government, a new job that is absolutely needed. And I'm trying to be culturally sensitive. Funny you should mention that -- the high schools are advertising this week for Science, Math and English teachers. Of course, this is to start Monday, and the pay is somewhat low. Looking further ahead, there are job openings for teachers every year, and some (even high school) teachers are offered expatriate packages that include transport and shiiping. I haven't found anonline listing but the contact information for each state government can be found through the Official Federated States of Micronesia Government Website.

For teaching opportunities elsewhere in this island nation, you can always click on the College of Micronesia jobs site, although Yap is the smallest of these campuses. The expat package is not as atrocious as that for other jobs (but noone is likely to get rich here!)
