Of most people I know, you likely can survive with out your luggage. Do not let the airline know that. When I went to NYC and my bag went to Washington state the airline delivered it to me and I convinced them credit my frequent flyer account with the miles that my bag earned from DAL to SEA to LGA as additional compensation.
The luggage arrived on the next flight, by 11 or 12 that night to wake up Brett . . . wish I had your skill in arranging the additional benifits . . . . (is it gall or balls or elsewise . . .?)
Isn't DIA one of the biggest madhouses you've ever seen. I swear it's like they need about six more terminals for the amount of traffic. I think I was in Boulder when I first got in line the last Denver/Chicago flight I took.
Yes, it is, in fact, I totally freaked upon initially seeing it. I stayed in one linr for 30 minutes with my mento/best friend Tom, upon realizing that I did not need to stay in that line, and I rushed off alone to the secret "A concourse" security line, and upon seeing my horror, the compratriots in that line were willing to let me pass through, somehow . . . . other airports are generally better than DIA . . . .
