Everything was absolutely beautiful, more serene than she could have imagined it would be. She had traveled the world, seen countless lakes and oceans, visited remote locations and touristy cities alike. Nothing compared the feeling she got standing on the balcony, the view of the lake stretched out, with Roger wrapped out around her.
It was perfect.
She woke the next morning later than she wanted to, lingering in bed as the light filtered through behind the plush curtains. The click of the door made her stir and she turned, stretching from under the comforter, a happy humming coming from her lips.
"Is that my husband?" she asked, blinking away sleep.

He settled the bag and cups on the bedside table. As soon as his hands were free, he leaned across the bed for a kiss. "How's my wife this morning?"

"The happiest I've ever been," she told him, nuzzling against his nose.

"Good. That's kind of the vibe I'm going for this week."

"So far so good then," she assured him, pushing herself up into the sitting position.
"Do I smell coffee?"

"Though looking like that? I might not let you have any."

"You're not too worn out from last night?" she teased, licking at her lips.
The coffee could get cold, she didn't care, not when Roger was looking at her like that.

"You willing to prove it?" she challenged, a mischievous smirk tugging at her lips.

"Is that a dare?" Not that it ever needed to be. All Lavender ever needed to do was look at him with her eyes bright like that.

"I just want to make sure you really want it," she told him.
This was the way that Lavender loved them most - goofy, sexy, and playful. There was a lightness between the two of them as they circled each other.
