No "Wonder Woman" - other Upfronts/TV ramblings

So it looks like NBC won't be picking up "Wonder Woman" - which really is too bad. They could've just had Kelly as the lead EP and then hired Brian and Kelly to handle the series and retool it. But oh well. It also looks like they passed on "17th Precinct" which I was really rooting for - by the guys who did BSG, probably too smart for NBC. On the

Color me not surprised by 'Wonder Woman' ... I heard what they were doing to her and it was wrong, wrong! NBC will continue to dwell in the cellar. Nothing changes.

'Hellcats' was fun for about half the season, then it went downhill. I dropped it a few episodes back.

I would think that TVD and Supernatural would fit perfectly. But the CW doesn't have much else, so they have to spread it around.

Fox doesn't have a good record with scifi. Terra Nova does look overdone, but I will check it out at least.

Summer TV doesn't interest me at all. I will keep up with Game of Thrones and True Blood, a few reality shows, but that's about it for me. Summer is a time for writing, so I will be doing that no question.

WW did rather sound like a hot mess - but I was hopeful that there was something good in it that could've been salvaged and reworked. Oh well.

Hellcats is quite good - it's a great guilty pleasure show, it's one of the more accurate shows that's shown kids actually going to college - they study, attend classes, and worry about how to pay their ways. Stupid Dawn - she greenlighted all of her darlings w/o allowing the new CW pres to make certain decisions for himself.

I still say WW should have her own movie with special effects to do her justice.

I mean really! The JLA movie can wait ... She needs it NOW!! :D

Aw man that stinks about WW. Yeah I couldn't continue with Hellcats. After about the third episode I just gave up. I figured what's the point. I was so bored with it. I just saw the preview for Falling skies. I may give it a shot. Didn't know Cassidy was up for a new show. Thanks for the heads up. Yay awesome about Game Of Thrones. I am totally sucked in.

Yeah I'm pretty excited for Cassidy's show -it's based on a bunch of books, that usually means that there's a better chance of it getting picked up as a series.
