Randomness - I'm buried in Screencaps

Feb 15, 2010 14:28

So I've been working all weekend on Screencap management - downloading & unzipping files, creating, sorting, and uploading caps into galleries various HD screencaps from Smallville and TSCC. All of the caps will go onto my new website, whenever I get around to fully working on it. The caps at the moment are consuming all of my time with working on ( Read more... )

You need to understand that I've been doing artwork in Photoshop, nearly non-stop since 2005. You'll note that if you go through my entire gallery, I've made hundreds and hundreds of wallpapers. The only way to get better is to keep practicing. My early walls were crap - I can barely look at them, but I keep them in my gallery as reminders of how far that I've come w/ my work ( ... )

Thank you so much for taking the time to write that nice long reply. :-) I hope you know, I do no want to make my stuff look just like yours.. Of course I want my own style, I was just saying how your work is my inspiration. :D

Blending is my biggest issue at the moment. Such a headache. I get to where I just start all over with something new.. Eventually, I hope, I will get it..

I got my fonts to work. Had to watch a tutorial on youtube. I also got CS4. It looks complicating. LOL What is the real difference between Photoshop 7 and Photoshop 7 Elements? I have had it for awhile now but I have never uploaded it to my laptop.

I have no idea what the elements things are - other than I think that they're uber stripped down versions of Photoshop.

Congrats on CS4! Pop around online and you should be able to find tutorials. If not there are great magazines out there at Borders or Barnes and Nobel. I'm addicted to 2 English mags (apparently I enjoy forking over $25 a month) Photoshop Creative and Advanced Photoshop for tutorials and awesome inspirational goodies. Plus they always have disks w/ freebie stuff in them (fonts, brushes, gradients, stock photos, tutorials, etc.)

Trust me, I'm in no big hurry - of course all of the Conseekadores out there might have something else to say on the matter :)~
