White House Misspeak
Just watched this morning's episode of This Week (with George Stephanopoulos). In it, National Security Adviser Stephen Hadley was asked about whether President Bush will attend the opening ceremonies of the Beijing Olympics. The strange thing was that as Hadley dodged the question repeatedly (and without agility), he referred to Tibet as Nepal. He did this every time he (apparently) meant to say Tibet as he responded to the entire line of questioning. What the fuck, Hadley? They're next to each other, yes. They're not the same !
You could almost sense Georgie-boy's joy, as he continued to let Hadley look foolish. Could've slipped in a quick correction. Didn't.
