Well, so what if he'd missed the point? At least he was trying! Fate was happy though, that Albel had shared that much with him. To him that was a perfectly good answer to his ultimatum. Albel was trying and that was the important part. He couldn't very well expect Fate to understand him perfectly if he hadn't opened up. There was only so much for him to go on. The bluenette hoped to keep learning new things about the other though, both the good and the bad.

Opening up his mouth to refute Albel's assumptions that he would never get it, Fate was pleasantly surprised to feel lips pressing gently against his own. It was a strange sensation after such a long time of only rough, biting kisses... but it was a welcome one. The younger male returned the kiss gently. It felt so loving. The kiss made Fate feel instantly high, made his heart sore in a way it hadn't before.

Wow.

After a moment, Fate's brain kicked in, reminding him that he still had a discussion to finish. There would be time for such things after they had finished talking. Reluctantly, Fate pulled away, lips tingling, mind dazed.

He tried not to let it deter him. With a gentle, happy smile (for he could he feel any other way after that?) Fate squeezed his hand. "I'm trying to understand," he said, "but you have to give me more to go on." He pressed another kiss to Albel's lips. "Teach me." Kiss. "How to read you." Kiss. "Better."
