Characters:: Fate Linegod (adonis_klein) and Albel Nox (wickedcrimson)
Date/Time:: May 2nd, evening
Location:: Fate and Albel's apartment
Rating:: Rated Albel for language.
Summary:: Fate finally gets to have the discussion Albel promised him forever ago.

It had been a long time since Albel had promised Fate a discussion about... whatever this was between them. The blunette had been waiting rather patiently, he thought, but the last week had been getting more and more unbearable. Confined to his wheelchair except for therapy, it was difficult to get around the apartment on his own. He missed working a lot, but the doctors had yet to clear him to go back and so Fate was stuck at home. It would be more bearable if I had a cat or something to play with. Company was something the other craved, but he hadn't had anybody since his mother had gone back to Australia. Or maybe it would be nice if they'd stop working Albel such long hours.

Sighing, Fate glanced at the clock for what had to be the millionth time that day. Time was taunting him, crawling by as though one of the characters in the games he so loved had cast 'slow' on him. It was awful. With a sigh, he flopped back onto the bed, deciding that he might as well just try and take a nap. Whenever it was Albel was getting home, Fate was pretty sure he wasn't going to be in the mood to talk. It had been over a week since the other's promise to tell him all the thing's he'd promised to talk about while the other had still been in the hospital, but there had been no mention of it since. Fate wasn't going to be able to take much more of this, he knew. Things already felt strained to him, more than they had before the accident. If Albel didn't give in some way soon... he would leave as soon as possible. The other had until he could walk on his own. If nothing happened by then, that was it. Fate was leaving.

Green eyes closed as their owner curled up on his sighed. The thought was painful--definitely not something Fate wanted to have to do, but he wasn't handling Albel's rather... unique personality as well since the accident. Maybe it had something to do with the sudden lack of time together. When he was in the hospital he'd seen Albel almost every day and it had been enjoyable. Now there were times when the other left before he woke and came home after Fate was in bed. It was annoying. Maybe this time though, Albel would come home before he dozed off and Fate could corner him into talking. It was worth a try for some peace of mind.
