Shizuka was early. He hadn't meant to be - he got a certain odd pleasure in arriving late whenever possible - but he had been more anxious than he cared about getting here. It was not every day that Watanuki actually agreed to spending time together, let alone a serious conversation. And so it made sense, Shizuka supposed, to have managed to get here early.
But it did mean that he had to wait. And that he did not enjoy.
