Was really bored at work Friday. So bored I went looking through random web pages. This brought me to www.tannahillweavers.com which notified me that they were in town this weekend. Schedules were tight. We couldn't make the Saturday show and the Sunday show was sold out. We went on a chance, and fortunately they have a real problem turning away folks, so we got to see them. What a great show!! We got to hear the story of the most romantic man in Scotland. One who woke up so full of happiness and love for his wife that he almost told her. We also heard the cautionary tale of the man who neglected to purchase the new CD and had the misfortune to forget a Christmas present for an important family member. The music was pretty good too.
