Donnie Darko vs. S. Darko
So they made a sequel to Donnie Darko. It is about his younger sister Samantha seven years later. It is actually the same girl who played her in the original, so that is kinda cool, but still. They made a sequel to Donnie Darko.
I haven't seen it yet, and I am having serious issues with the concept. I loved Donnie Darko. It is nearly, if not my favorite movie of all time. It is a total headtrip every single time I watch it, and everytime I watch it I think something different is happening. Everytime it makes a little bit more sense that isn't. And I am very worried that S. Darko is going to completely destroy it for me. It isn't even the same guy making it.
So my question for all of you is: Have you seen S. Darko: A Donnie Darko Tale? And if you have did it mesh with the original? Or does it feel separate? What did you think?
