I was in 5th grade when I saw Crystal reading a book in class, while waiting for the next teacher. Seeing the cover art, I became curious and asked her what she was reading. A friend told me about this book one day, and the next day it appeared on Fully Booked's recommended reads. So I asked another friend to lend me a copy. I read the whole thing in less than 24 hours.

Nights in Rodanthe: The Movie
