Finally.
I've always wanted my mom to be the one to bring me to school. I guess it's because she was the one who really dreamed of me going to UP, and is still dreaming of me going to UP Law.
I've been going to school for about 14 weeks now, and not once did my mom bring me there, since she was "in charge" of bringing my brother to school. Not once, until today.
I woke up at ten to six this morning and saw my brother sound asleep. I woke him up immediately. Turns out, my mom was still asleep too. If she had been the one who brought my brother to school, he'd have been so late. So she had the driver bring Miko to Lourdes, while she and Papa brought me to UP.
I gave her directions to AS, and she dropped me off right in front of the AS Steps, unlike the driver or my dad, who'd drop me off and I'd have to cross the street pa. Before I got off, she said, "Eto na building mo?", and she had this look in her eyes that kind of said, "Wow, my daughter's really in UP now." I nodded, gave her and my dad a kiss, and stepped off the car for the flag ceremony.
