Some quick thank yous!
I'd just like to say Thank You to aduial_peredhel and skew_whiff for the cards and azure_raven for the gifts! All of them brought me much needed smiles in this most hectic time of year. I hope you all have a lovely bit of holidays/time off/general moments of chill.
In other news:
Life has been nothing but work and wrapping presents lately. I work tomorrow until close, which will be a novel thing, since my store is 24hrs minus 2-3 days of the year.
Mom's got a doctor visit on Tuesday which will show the yay or nay test results for cancer. That's all been a bit of roller coaster, so it'll just be good to know something.
Currently moving all fic over to DW. Taking forever since I'm doing it by hand, so to speak, not import. It's allowing me to do a bit of tidying up along the way. Just working on the war fandom fic now. Tolkien fic will take forever.
Speaking of Tolkien...
The Hobbit Trailer. SO VERY EXCITED. Even though Galadriel has no reason to be there, I don't really care, b/c I am so damn excited. (And secretly hoping that if The Hobbit films do well, PJ might eventually do, like, Fall of Gondolin or Children of Hurin.) But seriously, can we just talk about the music? I love the Dwarves' song. Really hoping it is on the soundtrack.
And that's all for now. Going to try and get some decent sleep to prepare for the onslaught at work tomorrow.
