Wed was a fun day where I spent all day learning how to work our self-check out kiosk for 8 hours. I hate working night shifts. They turn me into a friggin' zombie and by the time I get to my day off I have no energy to do anything b/c I am a day/morning person. Saturday I had to work until 11pm, Sunday until 9pm, and today was my day off but I'm still in such a daze b/c I do not like this working at night bs. Years ago, well, 7th grade, when I started taking Latin for the first of what would become MANY years, I LOVED the word "haudquaquam." It reminded me of the way adults talked in all the Peanuts cartoons and still, to this day, the word makes me smile. As does saying "Vacca, vacca, vacca" really, really quickly. So, I DID get all my requested time off cleared for Animazement. Now, granted, my punishment is that the day after I get home, I'm working the 6am-2pm shift, but hey, they gave me four straight days off, two of those days being the days we get utterly slammed, so I'm not going to bitch too much.
