I hate being a quitter
Just threw in the WBB towel. I just, I can't stand my fic right now and while I would've made the word count, I am not happy with the fic, at all. There's no way I'd send out, even in rough draft form, something I really can't stand. I feel like a weight's been lifited off, honestly (in terms of creative output).
So, now back to writing things that make me smile and don't make me want to put my fist through my computer screen.
In other news:
I really think there is a curse on the drum kits used in MCR land. And that's all I'll say on that matter.
I'm so out of it lately, I didn't even realize Monday is Labor Day. I mean, I'm working anyway, so days like that don't really matter to me anymore (and for people who are going to say: But you get time-and-a-half! No, I don't. Labor laws in NC work out where part-time grocery retail workers do not get paid time-and-a-half. Even when working federal holidays.)
