I've been in a funk lately. And I know many people have as well. When I feel cranky, bad, on the 'verge of tears, need a laugh, my first reaction is to find my favorite songs and sing the shit out of them. This is why my musical library goes from Linkin Park to Tracy Chapman.
Anyway, below is not a list of those songs b/c a) that would take forever. It is, however, a list of videos from youtube for songs released in the past 5 years that never fail to make me smile/move me/help get some emotion, any emotion out. If I didn't limit it to the last five years, well, I think it would just be Survivor's "Eye of The Tiger" over and over again.

Adele's Someone Like You which, okay, fine isn't an ACTUAL video, but damn it, it's on her vevo channel, it counts.

Clare Maquire's This Is Not The End which, again, not a real music video, but it's the only song of hers I can stand so far, and it's a great performance.

I'll stop there for now, but will probably add some more as I think about this through the day. Feel free to spam the comments with some of your own personal cathartic songs/videos. I'm now going to listen to all my The Gaslight Anthem songs.
...especially since "American Slang" is now pinging in my head as a perfect song for Remy LeBeau.
