Planning Time
I am planning, as in already bought my pass and am about to buy my train tickets, to AZ 2011. I will get to see Aspen and Holley again, I'll be back in Raleigh, which is good since I've pretty much decided to move back there at the early part of next year, and I get to take the train! (Look, I'm the daughter and grandchild of train engineers. The love for the damn things is in my blood. And honestly, the ride from CLT to Raleigh is pretty nice.)
Though, I really wish I was there this weekend since there is an awesome Civil War as Public History Conference going on. Boo.
Work might give me some shit about taking off Memorial Day weekend, but considering I've worked the weekend of every other major holiday, and don't plan on requesting anymore time off until some Saturday in Oct. so I can go to RenFest, I really don't think it'll matter. Esp. since I'll be putting in for the time off TWO MONTHS early.
In other news:
Pollen sucks. Flowers are pretty. My black cat keeps rolling around in green and yellow pollen dust.
Easter decorations are very hard to find this close to Easter. I saw more of a selection just after Valentine's Day.
