So, in my long and ever-ongoing quest to finish my mega list of Band of Brothers related fanmixes, I've finally got around to finish the last of the final three. No pics or amatuer-night-graphics on this one, just tracklist, lyrics and a zip file.
A Lunatic You're Looking For, a Speirs/Lipton fanmix
1. Cathedrals by Jump, Little Children
In the shadows of tall buildings
Of open arches endlessly kneeling
Sonic landscapes echoing vistas
Someone is listening from a safe distance
The line moves slowly into a fading light
A final moment in the dead of night
2. I am Not a Robot by Marina and the Diamonds
You’ve been acting awful tough lately
Smoking a lot of cigarettes lately
But inside, you’re just a little baby
It’s okay to say you’ve got a weak spot
You don’t always have to be on top
Better to be hated than love, love, loved for what you’re not
3. You May Be Right by Billy Joel
You may be right I may be crazy
But it just may be a lunatic you're looking for
Turn out the light
Don't try to save me
You may be wrong for all I know
But you may be right
4. Taken by Tracy Chapman
Should I try to take you in?
Pretending what you have not felt
In passion sorrow sleep or death eyes closed
Eyes closed
Eyes closed
Eyes closed
5. Weapon by Matthew Good Band
And you breath in and you breath out for it
Ain't it so wierd how it makes you a weapon
And you give in you give out for it
Ain't it so wierd how it makes you a weapon
Never turn your back on it never turn your back on it again
6. Devil Inside by Inxs
Here come the world
With the look in its eye
Future uncertain but certainly slight
Look at the faces
Listen to the bells
It's hard to believe we need a place called hell
7. Sense of Humor by Darren Hayes
You will like my sense of humor
You will be addicted to my smile
Laughing all the while
And I will end each conversation
I will leave the room with upper hand
And you will understand
8. I Need Some Sleep by Eels
I need some sleep time to put the old horse down
I’m in too deep and the wheels keep spinning round
Everyone says I’m getting down to low
Everyone says, “You just gotta let it go”
You just gotta let it go
You just gotta let it go
9. New Heights by A Fine Frenzy
You are a thunderous thing, wondrous king
The face of rival-less gods, deep in your thoughts
Come here, oh, closer to touch, never enough
Let me climb under your skin, oh let me in
From your lips a precipice
I hang from every word
10. Wherefore Art Thou, Elvis? by The Gaslight Anthem
Now I got scars like the number of stars, my head's full of vipers.
I got the dust of the desert in my bones, coming through the amplifiers.
Between the minor chord fall and the fourth and the fifth,
It's a broken Hallelujah and a pain in my fist.
I wash my hands like the man with the blood on his teeth,
Over and over without relief.
And I got nothing for you darling but a story to tell,
About the rain on the pavement and the sound as it fell.
I'd watch this whole night come down and never miss her again.
I never felt right and never fit in.
11. The Hunter Gets Captured By the Game by Massive Attack with Tracey Thorn
I had to lay such a tender trap
Hoping you might fall into it
Love hit me with a sudden slap
One kiss and then I knew it
Ooooooh, my plans didn't work out like I thought
'Cause I had laid my trap for you but it seems that I got caught
12. Bliss by Muse
Everything about you pains my envying
Your soul can't hate anything
Everything about you is so easy to love
They're watching you from above
Mix here As always, if anyone just wants an individual track, just let me know.
The Hillbilly Jones fanmix is also almost done. It's very...country and bluegrass. Just sort of happened that way. Everyone from Jack White in his country phase to Willie Nelson to god alone knows what next. I wouldn't be surprised if some Allison Krauss wound up on there.
