Ways not to kick off the weekend
-Get off bus, walk into train station.
-Notice train station smells funny.
-Told train station is, in fact, shut down as there was a fire.
-Walk outside other side of train station to where the buses pick up.
-Wait 10 mins.
-Know what cattle must feel like when everyone rushes on the bus, since you just happen to live on one of the bus lines that goes to the next working train station.
-Enjoy the smell of being on a beyond-capacity full bus, with no a/c, no open windows, in 80 degree weather.
-Try really hard not to curse out the ignorant bitch who decides to stand in the doorway of the beyond-capacity-packed-bus as you try to get off.
-Go home and bitch about the MBTA on facebook and lj.
-But seriously, two straight days of fires on the Redline? Not cool, MBTA, not cool at all.
