So I pretty much made it through a full day of work. It was hell. I did have to lay my head down on my desk once or twice, there were many tissues used and lots of hand sanitizer moments, but I did make it through the day.
Still full of snot, though. And now, coughing it up to boot.
And why is it, that when you so obviously have a cold, people over the phone are always, "Oh, do you have a cold? You sound like you have a cold. I think you have a cold, don't you?" I really had to bite back the reflexive, "No shit." It's like when you're not feeling well, and you know you're not feeling well, and people are all, "Wow, you look like death." Thanks, so much, I couldn't tell.
In other news:
Only two episodes away from the final-edit/finish of my epic Band of Brothers fanmix. It's um, well, "huge" doesn't even begin to describe it.
I was ripping the tracks off some of my old burned cd's and god, man, how much do I adore Fiona Apple's Tidal and When the Pawn... albums. Seriously, this is not one song off Tidal I dislike, the music and the lyrics are just so good, with this jazzy undertone, and why can't we get more of that these days? Say what you want about her, she has talent.
Started re-watching crappy 90s movies to make me feel better. Centerstage is such a bad movie in terms of, you know, acting skills, plot, and writing, but the dancing will always entertain me. And really, you can't say too much about the acting b/c so many members of the cast are real dancers and not trained actors. But yeah, cheese factor times 10.
