It's kind of crazy to think right now I am sharing city-space with four Presidents (Carter, Clinton, Dubya, and Obama), Al Gore, a bunch of dignitaries, a bunch of political people, Jack Nicholson, and a whole bunch of Kennedy family members. I saw part of the motorcade escort going to one of the private services at JFK Library this morning on my way to the gorcery store. Funeral coverage at Misson Hill is on all the channels here today. It's rainy and dreary as we have Tropical Storm Danny bearing down on us and yet average everyday folks are still lined up down Tremont street to pay their final respects. This, after the two days of repose they had at the JFK Library where thousands of people turned out and the numbers swelled so much UMass Boston shut down for the past two days.
It's quite a send-off and somewhere, Teddy is laughing.
