Thoughts on the episode, written while watching. Obvs. Spoilers.

And tonight’s episode soundtrack starts off with:
Otis Redding’s Sittin on the Dock of the Bay:
Sittin' in the mornin' sun
I'll be sittin' when the evenin' come
Watching the ships roll in
And then I watch 'em roll away again, yeah

I'm sittin' on the dock of the bay
Watching the tide roll away
Ooo, I'm just sittin' on the dock of the bay
Wastin' time

I left my home in Georgia
Headed for the 'Frisco bay
'Cause I've had nothing to live for
And look like nothin's gonna come my way

So I'm just gonna sit on the dock of the bay
Watching the tide roll away
Ooo, I'm sittin' on the dock of the bay
Wastin' time

Look like nothing's gonna change
Everything still remains the same
I can't do what ten people tell me to do
So I guess I'll remain the same, yes

Sittin' here resting my bones
And this loneliness won't leave me alone
It's two thousand miles I roamed
Just to make this dock my home

Now, I'm just gonna sit at the dock of the bay
Watching the tide roll away
Oooo-wee, sittin' on the dock of the bay
Wastin' time

Anyway, on with the rest of the episde:
Angel Civil War, the idea of that alone is scary and biblical.

Okay, Misa Collins, you are a god. I love it when actors have to play differenct character with the same face. The change in mannerism, voice, tone, stance etc. God, Misha, so good. You need your own show. Come on, CW, we need a whole spin-off of Cas and Bobby go out into the world, kicking ass and living sarcasm.

They’re Heee-reee. Shut up, you did it to when Jimmy started messing with the tv.

Yes, Sam, let us go to Bobby’s. We need to go to Bobby’s. Bobby, Bobby, Bobby!

I could really do without the Same drinking blood scenes. If I wanted to see that, I’d be watching a show devoted to vampires.

You know, if a voice from the radio told me to stick my arm in a boiling pot of water, while it stays on the stove, um…no. Then again, it’s better than telling you to kill your own children.

Anna, hmm. I go back and forth on Anna. I’ll currently go with somewhere in-between. She does honestly seem to care for Castiel, so there is that.

“It’s in my blood.” Hmm, interesting. See, I like the mythology episodes.

Interesting ideas posed here, the idea of the cost of faith, and the sacrifice.

So, angel of alien? You decide. I saw that shit on X-Files once.

Hmm, deep voice change. Yum. Seriously, Misha love. Big Misha love.

The sucky part of it is that “Jimmy” seems like a nice guy. More than a bit confused, clearly about to get the shit end of the stick in life, but then none of the Apostles had it easy either. And one’s crucifying this guy upside down. Or stoning him. Or having him ripped apart by animals. Etc. etc. etc.

Junkie!Sam is not a nice Sam.

Ding-dong goes the doorbell of doom. So, Roger is clearly the new man in Jimmy’s wife’s life. See, Tom Wolfe is right, “You can’t go home again.” Is Roger a demon?

Oh, right, yes, he is. Is Jimmy beating Roger up with a shoe? It cut too quick for me to see.

Ooooh, Ruby, what have you gone and done to Sam? That’s a big-ass Achilles heel. Seriously, Junkie!Sam is a mofo of an asshole.

See, cost of faith and duty. It sucks, but someone has to do it. Granted, we still have 20 mins left in the show.

OKAY so did not see the wife as a demon. That did surprise me. Which SPN tends not to do. Damn demons, exploiting the weaknesses of them human heart. Granted, demons. Hmm, I wonder if Jimmy’s “blood” is protecting his daughter. I’m all intrigued now.

You know, shouting at the universe never really got anyone anywhere. Still, makes you feel better.

Little girl possessed by an angel, crazy.

Okay, Vampire!Junkie!Sam. Nasty and scary and something out of an MCR photo shoot.

Every time I hear the phrase “As You Wish” I can only think of The Princess Bride and therefore in my brain As You Wish= I Love You.

Okay, so apparently Castile got his ass kicked in Heaven; this will be interesting for the last, what, two episodes of the season.

BOBBY! BOBBY BOBBY BOBBY!OMG!BOBBY!
Holy shit, they just locked Sam in the cellar.

Right, so I am now excited for the rest of this season.
