That Time of Year.....Winter-Themed Card Time!

Okay, who wants Winter Season/Festival/Holiday cards?
I really will send them anywhere in the world; I already have the stamps for international postage. You can either leave a comment below (which will be screened) or you can e-mail me at rivlee130 (at) yahoo (dot)com; or, you know, whichever e-mail you have for me, since I have about five.

In other news:

I'm not dead yet! Turned in the Einstein rough draft yesterday. I am not very happy with it, but it's only a rough draft and I will have two weeks to revise.

Capstone work is all I will be doing from now until right before Christmas.

Work was fun today. We lost power for about 40 mins. Not much you can do at a job where everything is run off computers and machines. I read by the morning light, while other people pulled out cards. It was an odd way to start the morning.

Dean/Castiel is so my new OTP. However, if someone in the SPN fandom does not do a fanvid of Castiel to It Came Upon The Midnight Clear (hopefully the wonderful Sixpence None the Richer version, which if anyone wants it, I can hook you up), I will hurt someone. Upon a listen last night, due to Stockholm Syndrome, I realized how perfect the lyrics work. Odd fact, said carol was written due to a request from someone in Quincy, Mass, where I now live. How about that.

Yeah, someone at work turned on the Christmas music on the 5th, after much bitching said person has only turned it on for about a half-hour each day, since the rest of us told person annoying that she can have the damn songs on as much as she wants AFTER Thanksgiving. But now, it's like, they're in my head so I have to listen to them. Ugh. I've been called a Grinch and told Bah-humbug by said person, but come on, it was Nov 5th! Said person also got pissy when I made a comment of, "It's a good thing I'm not Jewish or Agnostic," but whatever. I was not listening to Christmas Carols 4 days a week, for 9 hours, for two months.

Winter is slowing creeping into New England. Today was not the coldest day so far, but it felt like it with the wind that's been howling for three days straight. Makes me thankful to be all warm and toasy in bed.
