Amazing Race

YAY AMAZING RACE IS BACK!
Hi, PHIL!

Okay, I’ve missed it. A lot.
Okay, the Bee Keepers, are so my favorite team. I don’t care if they don’t last one episode. I love it when the older folks compete.
Okay, and I like the Comic Book Geeks too. I just like to root for the non-ultra fit teams. And honestly, the health nuts are not the ones who always win. Look at the Hippies from last season, not health nuts, but good people. And they won. Which made me very happy.
Okay, so I also have to show love for the single mom and her son. Being raised by a single mom, I have to show support for that connection, relationship, and strength.

Ahh, the theme song. I adore the Amazing Race theme song. I’d so buy the MP3 if I could.

You know, on one hand I really think seeing if your relationship can be determined by how you run this race is stupid. On the other hand, it’s hard to get more stressed out than some of the situations you get into on this race.

Car pool lane. That is a good idea. Have they done that before on this show? So simple but smart.

I love how everything can change on this show by the simplest move.

Good to see everyone else loves the bee-keeping hippies too. They’re just too cute.

Okay, Frat Boy who is having a break down. The flight is full. Other teams will be on the United Flight. It evens out the playing field for a reason. It is not the end of the world if you do not get on the first flight. You just have to pray that the first flight gets delayed and then realize you will have to work your ass off in Brazil. Furthermore, if you’ve watched the show before, you’ll know that half the time, places are closed until the morning anyway and the first of the flights tend to arrive at night. I’m just sayin’.

One word you need to know for Amazing Race: Rapido.

Also, angry cheated-on lady, Tina: It’s Brazil. You need Portuguese more than you need Spanish.

Never doubt the strategy making ability of Comic Book Geeks. Never tease them about D&D.

Okay, Nick and Starr seem like some positive people. Might have to take them into the fold.

I really do adore the Bee Keepers.

Sara, your man is way needy. And kind of an ass.

You know, I’d much rather climb up the stairs on my hands and knees than climb down that cargo net. But that’s because I have a fear of falling to my death. It would be the stupid choice to make, what with the question at the top and all, but you know, so is life.

Go Comic Book Geeks, 4th place.

Oh, poor Frat Boys. Of course, since I’m the type of person who bitches, I would have been counting the steps just to be able to say, “I’m just climbed X-amount of steps on my friggin hands and knees.”

Really, I love the Beekeepers. I don’t care that they’re about to get eliminated. I love them. So awesome. True winners in my heart. I’ll miss them.

In other news:
I think I’m getting sick, since my throat has been sore all day. I am going to go into work tomorrow and slap one of my co-workers upside his head. He was so sick last week and still came in for three days, before leaving early. Plenty of time to spread germs around. It’s not like I can take anytime off next week either. My boss is on vacation (which is why I'm going into work tomorrow) and the other two people in my department have no idea how to do 50% of the things that need doing. I.e. Glass orders, claims, and checks. Clean up payroll. Closing out rental clean and oil change ROs. Warranty claims. Insurance claims. Storage quotes. Also, I have the keys on me for one of the cars that needs a seat repair. Oh, and First of the Month. And filing rental agreements, which is simple but you need access to accounting lists, which they other two don't have. Seriously, I don’t even know how to describe my job title. Boss lady says, “Jack of all trades, master of none.” That’s about right. I really hope I’m just going through some post-nasal allergy drip issues. But idiot-sick-boy who came into work said his started with a sore throat. My boss was also sick a few weeks before him.

Oh, and it’s almost that time of month soon. Hopefully that explains how week I've been feeling all weekend.

At least the rain is supposed to stop tomorrow. It’s been three days of rain. Also, pretty warm and humid temps, since we're getting the bits of Kyle, which would be nice, except my A/C unit has been removed and now my apartment is all sticky with humidity. I know, I know, bitch bitch bitch.

Oh, still hating Robin Hood Season 2, but loving Supernatural Season 3. I'm debating on whether or not to give Grey's season 4 a try. Season three sucked so hard for me that I could not watch anymore.

Things to look forward to:
-I'll be in CLT in a week and a half. With my pets. And, you know, family.
-RenFest.
-Chick-fil-a.
-Two weeks from now I will have a new cell phone. One that hopefully does not need to be charged at least once a day.
-Refund Check will be ready for pick-up on thursday.

Now, time for Cold Case.
