oh just this and that
One Bittersweet reason why I love Boston
It's such a forward movement, but due to some people who just can't stand to see others of the same sex married, it could be one of the last steps. It's good to know the Governor of MA will fight. Gay marriage has not hurt Boston, MA, or any other country where it is legal. Why some people just can't let others be happy, I will never know.
In other news:
My NCIS love of old has incresed ten fold as I got my hands on the complete sets of sesons 2 and 3 while in Charlotte. I already have season one and have watched as much of the other seasons as I could, but I'm always either working or in class on tuesday nights. As wewatchtv says, NCIS ws the little CBS show that could. Though how the censors let it show at 8pm, I'll never know.
I fell asleep at the computer again last night and this time slept for a very long time. It really has been tough going from, you know, 8 months of having most of my activity at night to now having it during the day. When at school and working as a grad assit. I often didn't wake up until 9:30 and was up until about 3:30am. Now I have to be at work by 8am. So, yeah, adjustment. Hopefully I'll be okay in a few weeks.
I've posted the background "facts" part of the meme from weeks ago on the writing lj. I'm debating over who to do next, and any suggestions are, of course, welcomed. It's good practice to get me back into the writing mindset and into my characters.
Now to have a real meal (something that has not been present in my life for the past week or so) and sit down and start writing. I think it would help me relax and, well, I need to do that. Badly.
