It appears, maybe, possibly, somehow in Japan at least, a sequel to the FAKE series is coming out.
It all started when my friend Holley e-mailed me this link.
Then, her digging into the internet (because googgling "FAKE" is just stupid, trust me) found the official site of Sanami Matoh with this
As Holley pointed out, that's different artwork. There are only five volumes up..so unless she's going back and revising her story, I think we may have a sequel going on in Japan. And, considering the warning on akadot, there was no "graphic sexual content" or content of any kind to really receive such a warning (besides violence and for the close-minded folks of the world, two men kissing) in the first FAKE vol. 1.
Am I excited? Yes, I am. Did I think god loved me that much? No, I didn't.
If anyone has anymore info, or, you know can read Japanese with a greater grasping than Holley (which is ten thousand times better than I can) please let me know.
And Welcome to the new anime friends. Um, my anime/manga views: I like pretty boys (men, really, the one exception to the rule has been our dear pink-headed fool in Gravitation), especially when they're kissing.
Seriously, I like more than that. A story with a plot does actually have to pull me in; currently those ruling my brain are the Kyou Kara Maou boys, but the Saiyuki boys have never really let up and the Weiss boys know they will always be there. I'm pretty sure my favorite series are on my info page.
Oh, and on the
Archive has been backed-up in prep for the new script loading. Minu's connection is shot to hell right now so it might take a few more days. If it does, I'll try to back-up again right before it to save any new postings.
Forum, that thing sort of being revived but was never REALLY alive in the first place, has already had two greeting postings, but also has a rules thing up and my "hello, how are you, sit down, play nice" posting. We honestly don't expect much to go on over there, but still, it needs to be done.
And for those wondering what I'm doing about the situation against the archive, the answer would be: Nothing. Personally, I think it's pointless, I don't go poking bears with sticks, and I don't like to give attention to those who are starved for it. Also, if people want to leave, I'm not going to beg them to stay. I'm not going to "force" someone to stay on an archive where they don't want to be. People have to do, what they have to do, and I wish people well on their future..ways in life.
Anon reviews are off and will stay off until we figure out how to get the bot spam to go far, far away. Depending on member consensus, we'll see if anon reviews will be turned back on after the new script is uploaded and after we've determined bots cannot post.
Gallery, as suggested by Minu and a former member, is also in the process of being looked at. We're, again, waiting for the new script to go up.
On a personal aside, have I also mentioned how much people who play the saint/martyr card annoy me? Even when you're a government official, a celeb, a person of great interest, etc. etc.
We all have our crosses to bear, deal with your own. We all have shit in life and skeletons in the closet and things that could make us all a lot more fucked up then we are. It's not an excuse, it's not an "oh woe est moi" moment, it's called life. Live it, learn it, know it, move on.
And yes, I'm getting out as much cursing as I can before tomorrow descends on me with it's ashes, displaying sinner-ness, no meat, and that whole Lent thing. Matt's giving up chick-fil-a..I've already done that by moving up here.
