What really annoys me about this storyline is that death is about the least special thing there is. Everyone dies. If Kara accepts that she has a special destiny, she should be expecting something other than death, but she behaves as if that's what it's about, a meaningless death that will devastate her colleagues (it's great that she's not afraid, but why should that matter?). I don't mind emotional manipulation. I mind self-contradiction.
