My day, for what it was.

First of all... movie night... AT A REAL THEATER! We should do it. There's a movie theater a block from my house that shows old movies and sells popcorn and drinks... and for really cheap! Admission is $3, and popcorn is $1.50. Rowan and I went tonight.... and it was amazing!!! More of this we shall do, and with friends next time. :)

Secondly, my sickness is dispersing and I'm feeling much better. All I needed was a good trip to the theater, I reckon. The movie we saw was entitled "The Heart is a Lonely Hunter", and it was about a deaf/mute man who deals with the problems of his companions as well as problems of his own.
...The girl in the movie had a boyfriend... who REEEEEAAALLLLY looked like my friend, Ben Hogan. I mean like a DEAD RINGER! Also... he was wearing my shoes. My black converse. It makes me smile whenever I see people wearing my shoes, both on the bigscreen and off.

I've been hired to play at two weddings this summer... which should be a neat adventure. I've only been to one wedding in my life (I was seven, and played the fabulous part as the beautiful flower girl.), so I'm probably due for a review on how this "marriage" ritual works. Also on a gig note, I'll be playing at the Acoustic Cafe on April 3rd, and Merlin's Rest on April 10th. :) And I will rock the house. I will rock it like diamond. The hardest kind of rock there is.

I induced some leg-hair genocide today and got around to shaving. I didn't really have a reason, but it needed to be done, and I had some time on my hands. Now I have these nice smooth legs and nothing use them for. Pity.

I walked down to the cleaning works to see if they had any prom dresses for rent. They only have one dress in the entire shop... and by Jove, it fit me. Who'da thunk it? It was a royal blue color, rather plain, but could easily be spruced up with my gloves, jewelry and what not. I looked good in it, regardless of blue not being my color.

I was hoping for more of a deep red... but whatever. There's time. There's always time.

I wonder sometimes what goes through the mind of a fly when it's caught inside a revolving door. And I also inquire why those doors are so damn addicting?! You just want to keep going around and around and around and around for HOURS!!! DAMN! What's up with that?! It's like running up a down escalator, or riding on one of those playground merry-go-rounds until you spin yourself into uncomfortable nausea. WHY DO WE DO THAT?! We know it's going to hurt us eventually, so why do we do it? It's like drinking, or eating large quantities of fried chicken, or wolfing down ice-cream really fast.

Ice cream headaches... there's a laugh and a half. We keep eating ice cream until we get that head-splitting headache, and we can't do anything about it. We just have to wait for it to go away... and it does... so then what do we do?

WE EAT MORE ICE-CREAM! WHAT ARE WE? FUCKING STUPID?!!!

Humans are really fascinating animals. :) I love them, and I love being one.

Chao.
