OMG!
Seth Wescott won the gold! his sister is a friend of mine and stayed at our house in Thailand; we're part of the same community in SF. I haven't met Seth, but Sarah talks fondly of him and was sooo excited when she was leaving for Turin. It's so weird to be one degree removed from a gold medalist. I mean, it's totally conceivable (if I were in SF) that I could end up at a dinner party with him. Trippy.
