Love at First Bite Chapter 3- Roles are Reversed
What I imagined Blake's house to look like
After spending awhile with Kaylie trying to figure out what to wear I finally settled on a dark red v-neck t shirt, black skinny jeans, and black converse with dark red laces. Feeling satisfied I ran out of the door eager to escape Kaylie and to explore my new surroundings.
I'd gotten as far as the white marble staircase when I felt a warm hand pull me back.
I landed into my mysterious captor with a thud and my body felt like I'd landed into a rock.
Groaning a little at the impact I tried to turn and ask Blake why he intended to ruin every bit of happiness I could get but his hold on me prevented that.
He laughed and muttered something about me being so dramatic.
Then he released me before he told me I had to the count of 10 to get my ass down those stairs.
He said he was going to "hunt" me to see what vampires say is so fun about it.
I took off before he even got to 1 and after looking at my choices to either go to the kitchen, living room, or dining room, I went for the door leading outside.
As I quickly opened the glass door and jumped over the patio I heard him shouting,
" Dammit Adam."
I ran into the forest with him trailing behind me.
I quickly discovered that as I was out of the house I gained all of my abilities back.
I smirked as I thought about the advantage I had on Blake now.
With my keen sense of hearing back and my excellent eyesight I saw Blake coming before he tripped over the log in the peaceful area I'd found.
I said to him,
" The hunter has just become the huntee.
I'd run if I were you because now that I'm out of that house I realized just how thirsty I really am."
Realization dawned on him but he looked torn at the idea of leaving me. I assured him I'd be back just as soon as I had gotten enough blood to quench my thirst for awhile. He seemed pleased by that and slowly started to walk back towards the house but not before he told me that dinner was in an hour and that after dinner he had a surprise for me.
I grinned because I love surprises and as soon as I heard him shut the door of the house I went deeper into the forest to find the couple I'd heard setting up their campsite. I'd really missed this.
