R.I.P. Roger Ebert. Now he's back with Gene Siskel and it's two thumbs up again--now in heaven.

Just found out one of my very first friends here on LJ abelladonna passed away last week. We bonded over The X-Files and our love for the show's John Doggett. She died far too young. Be at peace, Bella.

First Whitney Houston dies of an overdose, now the Monkees' Davy Jones dies at 66 of a heart attack. These things always seem to come in threes.

Just heard that Whitney Houston passed away at 48. No doubt this will change the whole tone of tomorrow's Grammys.

Rest in peace, Joe Pa. Your name can never be tarnished.

Those of you on the East Coast might have caught it on on the CBS news the other day--one of our local police officers Derek Kotecki was killed in the line of duty Wednesday night. Please keep his wife and two boys in your thoughts and prayers.
