Day 19 - Best TV show cast
Law and Order: SVU
I've never dipped a toe into this fandom, I've only watched the show. I love the spectrum of characters the show offers the audience. Plus there's the added 'six degrees of separation' trivia or 'Vancouver Incest' as I like to call it. What do SVU, The X-Files, and Supernatural have in common? Richard Belzer (Detective Munch) guest-starred as that character on The X-Files ep 'Unusual Suspects' (5.03) which was directed by Kim Manners, who also directed many of Supernatural's best episodes before he passed away last year.
Day 20 - Favorite kiss
Has anyone else loved a ship in fandom, but never wanted it to happen in canon? That's how I am with The X-Files Mulder/Scully. 'Small Potatoes' (4.20) gives me the grey area I can live with. You have a shape-shifter who pretends he's Mulder and nearly seduces Scully with openness and wine. Mulder breaks down the door two seconds too soon, shattering the illusion and the almost-kiss.
