Alec was seriously considering getting a hobby like Jane's drawings. Being free of the rest of the Volturi and their orders had been interesting for a while, but at this point he was beginning to grow bored.

As such, he'd headed out to the lake. It wasn't any more interesting than the rest of the world, he thought, but at least it was something to do.

It didn't take long for him to spot Nenael, and he smiled grimly. The melting angel, wasn't it?

He didn't call out a greeting, but headed toward the angel nonetheless.

His wings rippled a little as he became aware of an approaching figure. Recognizing it as one of the vampiric children, he grimaced slightly and steeled himself for whatever might come from this encounter.

He shifted slightly on his rock, watching Alec's approach intently.

"I've heard about you," Alec noted, stopping a few paces away and regarding the angel with crimson eyes. "You're one of the ones in charge?"

If his guesses were right, then Nenael would be. Alec had yet to really see to visiting the castle. This was going to provide an interesting opportunity.

"One of them," he agreed affably enough. He supposed he must have missed visiting Alec in his earlier tour, but no matter. He was here now. "Do you have questions that haven't been addressed yet?" he asked.

He did let his gaze sweep past the child, looking to see if anyone else was about - especially the boy's twin. He was highly disinclined to tangle with both of them.
