Day Seven - Ducks in a Row

Summary: Nenael is reflecting by the lake when he's approached by Alec. Alec recognizes him as one of the ones in charge, and asks about the fate of the prisoners they might take, and explains that he and Jane are interested in Bella. Nenael explains that isn't his decision, but that Alec can talk to Acevona in that regard. Alec agrees that he will eventually do that, before he roams off to find dinner.
Nenael had made rounds, checking on the newcomers and making sure the old hands were still about and surly as ever.
They were, of course.
Ace was being a pill because she hadn't heard back from her spy, and Nenael wasn't inclined to hang around inside the castle. So he made his way out to the lake, finding a perch on a rock, and wondering who would be the first to find him this time.
