Haven't been a happy fandom posting bunny lately, but only because almost everything I want to say is full of self-loathing or self-hate & I don't think it's appropriate to inflict any of that textual boredom on my flist.
So, here's a few happier things for me & you, mostly fandom-related & a meme I took from asyouleft because I could really use a few nice words right about now.
Fishing for compliments:
One little compliment can make you feel amazing. So give me a compliment, anything in the entire world, even that my shoelaces are pretty. Put this in your journal. And once you get some comments, put that entry in a memory or tag and when you are feeling down, just go to that entry and this will remind how great you are.

It combines two great fandoms in one big recipe & it is a GREAT read. For the Friday Night Lights & SGA fans on my list, you are REALLY going to want to take a look at it. You'll like it, I promise.
LantisJournal by ana_grrl & mklutz - crack!fic with multiple pairings. Hmm, how do I put this . . . I love this? Fabulous, fabulous crack inspired by LJ downtime with visual aids to make your reading experience even more fun! It's the sort of fic that actually perked me up a little this week.

♥ I can't believe I'm reading so much Rodney het lately! WHAT IS HAPPENING TO MY SLASHER SENSIBILITIES.
::laughs:: I'm just teasing about that last bit. I'm just reading a fair bit of Rodney/Laura & Rodney/Katie as of late & who knew that Rodney with girls those two pairings could be so cute? Seriously, they are! (but I still think the world needs more Laura/Katie!)
♥ ♥ I think I'm developing a medium-sized crush on Major Lorne. I take back all the eye-rolling & desires to throw something at him now, I do! ::hides face in hands::
