Went down to the ocean today with some family. I now have awful poolwater hair & a delicious little tan line around my neck from my swimsuit. I like tan lines, even on myself. I think they're sexy & cute. & the salt air made me feel better than I have for a while now - seawater does that to me.

I sort of miss doing rec posts. For my new friends, when I first came to lost_her_sway, I used to to rec posts by the dozen! All multifandom, fic & art mostly. I stopped doing it after a year or so, mostly because I didn't know if anyone actually got anything out of them or if they just annoyed everyone. So I stopped. But now I sort of miss it.
Am seriously starting to contemplate creating the John Sheppard mix I've been babbling about for the past three posts now - Honestly? I think I want to do it! & that's so odd, because the idea of doing a mix in this fandom about him kind of unnerves me, because there are SO many things to chart out musically about him & I haven't even SEEN season three yet, so it would be kind of limited, but dammit, the idea's sort of locked into my head.

::blushes:: Yes, I admit it - I read Rodney/Laura & I liked it. But it was sexy! & there were teeny hints of John/Rodney in it! Plus, it made me want a John/Rodney/Laura threesome & I really don't dig on threesomes! & it had sex on lab tables! (seriously, want to cheer me up? Mention Rodney McKay either a) wearing glasses or b) getting some action on a lab table & you will instantly cheer me up!)
& this of course officially cements my Laura Cadman crush/worship - if I'm reading het that features her, you KNOW it's love! (I prefer Laura femmeslash, mostly) Same goes for Rodney. (whom I almost never read het for, because him with Elizabeth makes me cringe, I don't see anything with Teyla & nobody's writing Miko/Rodney cuteness!)
