Beautiful Day
Spring is in the air! I cannot believe what a beautiful day we have had. It's 5 pm right now, and I still have the sliding door open to the balcony (with the screen closed so Mya doesn't go out). A cool breeze has been blowing into my apartment this afternoon, and I love it. I can hear teenagers on their skateboards down below, and children laughing in the Plaza. Of course there are traffic noises, but it's life! Cheerful and wonderful. It makes me happy.
Mya has been sitting by the window for hours now watching the action. She seems very content.
I made chicken piccata with rice for lunch, and now I should go do the dishes.
