WHAT: Kanda is missing again, Daisya is fighting the Call and Lenalee is dealing with dreams and visions of the two boys she loves as bloodthirsty cats. The two try to find some comfort.

WHEN: The morning after Lenalee's nightmare
Lenalee came down the stairs slowly. She'd managed to doze lightly for about an hour just before sunrise, but had not fallen completely back to sleep after the horrible nightmare had awakened her.
Daisya was sitting on the couch, just staring blankly out the window. She grabbed the banister as one of those horrific visions filled her mind again, of a snarling cat with a blood-soaked muzzle and Daisya's eyes.
She couldn't give in to the fear anymore. She would never be able to help them if she did. And surrendering to her fear was one reason, she was sure, that Kanda was gone again.
"You're a lie," she told the vision in her head. The cat snarled at her even more, as if in protest, but she held her ground, trying to force it out, to replace it with the more pleasant image of Daisya looking at himself in the dressing room mirror, seeing how good he could look for the first time.
The image of the cat got stronger. She continued to hold the counterimage until the first faded.
Leaning against the banister, she gave a big sigh of relief, and then approached the other Exorcist, draping an arm around his shoulders lightly. The snarling cat image returned as soon as she touched him, but for a mercifully brief flicker this time.
"Daisya," she said, "you need to rest. Just lean against me and sleep."
