WHAT: Two recent (disgruntled) immigrants start planning the next steps in their investigation as an old "friend" draws near.
WHERE: At a table near the window of the dining hall in the Crimson Dragon Inn.
WHEN: Late morning.
Jade was smoothing the cover of his diary, lost in thought, a half-empty glass of wine forgotten in front of him. "I didn't see Guy writing to the Queen yet. I hope that Luke is having better luck with his investigation. Although I am wondering if we should remind him, he seems to be a little forgetful..."
These words jarred him back to the present, and he looked at his companion. What was he going to do with Peony? He had to be constantly babysat, and entertained, in order to keep him out of trouble, and Jade was starting to think he would have to do most of the work himself...
