"Everything will be just fine," Larsa reassured once he had let go of Hakkai's hand. And then he realized something odd. His hand was sticky and-

Blue eyes widened. The neat cut he had watched heal had not healed at all. The illusion of his relief fabricated an excuse for his body to make him believe everything had worked. That the potions glowed when it fact it was the thrumming of the crystal that aided in illuminating the ornate glass bottles.

He sat back with a small thump, clutching his hand and watching in disbelief as the crusted blood clogged the wound. Suddenly the boy felt sick, far sicker than the time he had seen the field of bodies.

"These potions can be used instead to disinfect a wound and the adhesive nature will provide a protective film over wounds to prevent further contamination."

Now that the magic had been stripped from the potions, he passed them into the holding cell along with his water.
"Just use them as a salve after washing the wounds."
